    There are over 50 colleges and universities in their metro area, giving it a reputation as an esteemed college town.
    The Celtics have more titles (sixteen) that any other NBA team.
    They are known for their baked beans.
    It is home to the Boston Marathon, the longest running annual marathon in the world.
    It is the home of the world-renowned Boston Symphony Orchestra.
    They have the oldest public park in America (Boston Common).
    It was the location of the TV shows Cheers, St. Elsewhere and many shows produced by David E. Kelley.
