Why they might be annoying
They are considered as being an arena rock band.
Although selling three million units, their second album, 'Don't Look Back,' was seen as a disappointment.
Tom's been described as being a perfectionist.
After being fired from the band, Barry sued Tom claiming he ruined his chances of having a solo career.
After being sued by Barry, Epic Records decided to sue the band, claiming that they had taken too long between album releases. The lawsuit would go on for 7 years.
Their 1994 album, 'Walk On,' was a huge flop.
Why they might not be annoying
Before forming Boston, Tom earned a master's degree in mechanical engineering at M.I.T.
Their debut album produced three hit singles.
Tom's released MP3's of the bands new music on MP3.com.
They ranked 63rd on VH-1's 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock.
